The new iMac is out in 21.5 inch and 27 LED screened variety.
The new display is a 16:9 LED backlight screen, with resolutions of 1920 x 1080 on the 21.5 inch and 2560 x 1440 on the 27 inch screen.
As LED technology alllows for extremely thin products to be made it is ideally suited to the form factor of the iMac.
As well as having new screens the iMac is now boasting the power of Intel's Quad Core processors with 1TB hardrives and 4gb 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM the new model along with snow leopard shouldn't be slow by any means with Apple stating that application performance is increased x2 from the last generation of iMac.

Personally I haven't liked mice from apple and have been using Logitech products for the last few years.

Personally I haven't liked mice from apple and have been using Logitech products for the last few years.
My most recent mouse being a Logitech MX Revolution which I love. The new "Magic Mouse" does look like an improvment over the "Mighty Mouse" which was anything but mighty in my opinion, however I remain sceptical and will not be rushing out to purchase a replacement for my MX Revolution.
